Global Compensation Analyst – Cost Estimates

Description:

The Global Compensation Analyst will focus on cost estimates, playing an important part in ensuring the integrity of completing cost estimates, reviewing clients’ policies, sourcing relocation data benefits; preparation, and completion of both global and domestic cost estimates, and understanding of procedures and tax laws. Scope of responsibility includes the preparation and calculation of estimated cost for global assignments and domestic relocations along with process documentation, sourcing policy benefits, and understanding of the assignment/relocation policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor cost estimate shared mailbox and respond to queries as necessary
  • Prepare new cost estimates based on policy type, employee demographics, complete self-
    review audit
  • Ensure back-up data source information is compiled and saved for reference retrieval
  • Provide completed cost estimates for second level review; make any changes as needed based on review feedback
  • Send completed documents to client requestor
  • Upload completed documents to database and update deliverables log
  • Complete audit of tax calculations from tax providers against completed cost estimate and determine if revisions are required
  • Create/update process documentation based on process or policy changes as needed
  • Participate in process related discussion meetings as needed
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in global compensation and/or assignment/relocation consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, HR, International Management, or a related field is preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, analytical thinking, attention to details, and flexibility to make key decisions in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent Excel skills including creating formulas, v-lookups, and pivot tables
  • Experience working within a cross-functional global environment, conflict resolution, and
    fostering a great rapport for teamwork
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for client presentations and internal/external correspondence
  • Understanding of worldwide tax and social security liabilities would be an advantage
  • Strong aptitude for mathematical concepts and analysis
