Claims Adjuster
Description:
We are looking for a Claims Adjuster who will oversee insurance claims for personal, property, or
casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures complete and sound claim settlements.
- Legal reviews and investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collect information from various sources to determine insurance liability based on the extent of
property or personal damage. - Interview claimants and witnesses
- Estimate if the damage is covered by insurance policies and calculate payments.
- Work closely with Operations and then also with the clients to ensure a smooth and fair process
to appropriately settle all claims in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working with claims.
- Transportation industry highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision to manage schedules and
meet deadlines. - Detail oriented with a commitment to excellence.
- Poised and professional demeanor.
- Proficient in the use of software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
